The WGA strike isn't stopping some of the top talk show hosts from returning to their shows in this coming new year.

Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert join Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel in making the announcement that they will return in January.

Stewart and Colbert will run their first new show on January 7th.

David Letterman returns to late night on January 2nd, with his entire arsenal of WGA writers at his fingertips.

Letterman and his company, Worldwide Pants, struck a side deal with the Writer's Guild of America, which will pay his writers based on everything they asked for in their meetings with the AMTPT.

David Letterman is the only late night host that can actually have A-List celebrities on his show during the strike. At least for the moment.

With his company, World Wide Pants, making an agreement directly with the WGA, celebrities can safely come on the show without "crossing the picket lines."
