I was in a university lecture hall in 2003 to hear former UN weapons inspector tell the audience that o weapons of mass destruction wold be fond in Iraq. I was in the same hall when Joe Wilson explained how he knew that the yellow cake uranium story in the 2004 State of the Union Address was false.

Japan May Weaponize Space

The Democratic Party of Japan has expressed their approval for the use of the Earth’s atmosphere for defense purposes. This was done through an outline of a bill on space they plan to submit in 2008. For a nation that preaches pacifism at every opportunity, regardless of the size of it’s military budget, I find this stance rather hypocritical
