If you have been using AVG Free Edition 7.5, you might have notice the launch of AVG 8.0. You get a banner in the AVG Control Center stating "Attention! AVG 8.0 released". Some even get a balloon telling them that their anti-virus software is out-of-date adding and there is a newer version of AVG software.
