It is too late to complain about being penalized for paid links. While everyone was paying attention to Google's play with a PageRank slap, for worse things for paid links may already be heading our way.
No matter how you feel about the Google PageRank slap, it is time to face the music and realize that the decision about nofollow was decided years ago. I don't like it, but paid links are probably dead as a future source of revenue.
