Why I canâ€™t be a successful blogger

A post describing why I (and many others) can't be successful bloggers. Does this mean that I'm a failure? Did I try hard enough? Who is a successful blogger? Many thoughts and also many opinions in the comments. Do you consider yourself to be successful?
The advice that is given is that you should choose a subject that you are really interested of, but it also has to be somewhat popular, you have to have and share quite a lot of information about the subject and of course - unique. But of course, there are many successful blogs out there that doesnâ€™t really have a specific niche.

Success is a relative thing. One can be a successful blogger without making money. For example if you can produce unique content and thousands visit your blog and talk about it - that's success, too. They love you because of what you put into your blog, not because you make tons of greenbucks.

Markk is 100% right. Each blogger needs to determine their own standard of success. Some of us blog for money, some blog for friends, some blog for recognition. Once each person determines what success for them is, they can work on getting it.
