What Kind Of Traffic Does Your Blog Need | Blog Gigs

Different kinds of blogs need different traffic so they can build up a loyal following. Many bloggers have taken the route of getting traffic by placing Ads like in Adsense or other contextual Advertisements. Are these kind of traffic worth paying for, for blogs that have no PPC Ads or Blogs not relying on Affiliate Marketing? Are we taking the wrong approach in building up our traffic?
