Pick up lines, they are snubbed in our society just as often as yo mama jokes. But with the right execution, a pick up line just might be what is needed to jump start a conversation. The point of a pickup line is to a) make the recipient laugh and ease the tension of a first conversation or b) flatter the recipient into wanting to talk more. Most pick up lines out there though are raunchy or cheesy, two things that are NOT hip when making a first impression.
