RedStateEclectic : Barack Obama and the Importance of Speechmaking

Barack Obama is probably the most talented speechmaker in the whole presidential candidate field this year.  His speeches, though, while well delivered and inspiring a certain undefined vision, are seriously lacking in specifics.  We hear "change"--but we don't get a good sense of what things are going to change TO.  Obama will be a tough competitor for any of the Republican candidates.  The best hope is for a GOP candidate who is able to deliver an "on-message" speech, while outlining a bold vision that is clearly different from Obama's amorphous vision.
