As a parent we all go through tough times with our children and all children are at times oppositional, defiant, argumentative, angry etc. This is a normal part of growing with any child, however with a child that suffers from Oppositional Defiant Disorder it is beyond normal and they act in these ways constantly.

As a parent you just know in your heart that your child's behavior is beyond normal naughtiness and although it may be a disorder that they are having trouble dealing with it doesn't make it any easier as a parent to cope with it.
