Disraeli was right you know, there are lies, damned lies, and statistics. Unless you can be sure where people get their numbers from then don't believe what you are told. Researchers sample populations i.e. 70 people from Texas over the age of 50 is a hypothetical population. Read research reports to find out where the figures come from before you believe the statistics that you see in the media.
