Imagine If Adoption Really Did Cost Only $10.00

Does all the Adopt-A-Highway, Adopt-A-Solider, Adopt-A-Family-For-The Holidays, send a wrong message to society about what adoption REALLY means.  I think it does. Those types of programs are "sponsoring", not "adopting. When you adopt a child, it's far different that stuffing a stocking full of candy and giving it a child you're never going to see again.
