Obviously the money is a huge factor, the movie has made over $288 million since it was released, but the book doesn't have a sequel and the movie really doesn't lend itself to one.
It's just acting on the idea of more money. Is it ruining Hollywood? Are there no more original ideas?

Dunno, this movie kinda bums you out. Like most movies in Hollywood lately they just bum you out. I think we should go back to the days of the silent movie, least those are cool to watch sometimes..
They actually had a story :) Even though they were silent..
