Bruce Greenwood To Play Capt. Pike In “Star Trek XI”

J.J. Abrams has landed a talented actor to portray the character of Capt. Christopher Pike. Capt. Pike (originally played by Jeffrey Hunter) appeared in the original unaired pilot that Gene Roddenberry created. The pilot was rejected and the show was reworked without Pike. (Spock was the only character that survived the redevelopment.)

What role will Capt Pike be playing in the movie? A full cast list for the new Star Trek film (Star Trek XI).
