Getting the attention of social media is getting difficult by each passing day, especially for small bloggers like me. Every one of the existing social media sites is well established, so in order to get on the frontpage, you’ve to participate, comment and make friends on the site for months! This pretty much limits the amount of traffic small bloggers can get in the first couple months through social media.
However, a social voting site by the name of BloggingZoom might be the savior of the less known part of the blogosphere. BloggingZoom is the new social media site in town, where only content from blogs is allowed to be submitted. It goes even beyond the normal social media site: it offers to bring in residual search engine traffic to your blog posts! Now that’s one revolutionary idea.

I understand that you have already built up a network on SU to promote your articles but I don't understand saying that you're mad that other people aren't contributing to the community of BZ then turning right around and saying that you aren't going to promote your articles until the traffic from BZ is equal to what you get from SU. The traffic from BZ will only grow to that level if people contribute articles and promote them and contribute to the community on BZ. It might take a while to build up to SU levels but you shouldn't sit back and complain about other people then make them do the work.
