It is Black History Month and I was looking for information about a Canadian that I could share and found the storteller site and there was an entry about Viola Desmond a Canadian from Nova Scotia. Canadains rarely get information about their own country and this story told me about someone I had never encountered before. Viola Desmond was arrested when she sat in the whites only section of a movie theatre.
