Very good read from Tom Stine about his experience on a retreat with Adyashanti near Monterey, CA in December. He confesses he didn't have a "big bang" and become suddenly enlightened but it doesn't usually work that way. He did a lot of meditation and experienced "being" - no phones, computers, or TV.

Inspirational and well written.
