AML Movie Review: “Charlie Wilson’s War”

The United States fought a covert war in the 1980s, essentially helping Afghanistan to fight the invading Russians with modern weapons. The story is true, the historic implications of it have major ties in todays War in Iraq.

Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Philip Seymore Hoffman give an astounding performance in this film, with Hanks playing the title character, Charlie Wilson.
