The 80th Annual Academy Award nominations were announced this morning. For those that might not know, the Academy Awards are also known as the Oscars, the Big One, the Life's Goal, Mr. Paycheck, or Cha-Ching.

Many of the early frontrunners were, as expected, nominations for this years Academy Awards. As always, however, there were some notable surprises and even more notable snubs. So who will be basking in the glory of an Oscar nomination this year? Who will be crying "it's not fair, it's not fair!" for the next month and hoping the writer's strike makes the whole thing go away?
