If video killed the radio star, will Hulu murder television?

Hulu is the first venture into online distribution from the major US television networks (as a joint venture between NBC & Fox). The service allows users to view popular programs such as Heroes, Prison Break & The Simpsons online for free. Hulu brings a number of advantages to program viewing. Is this the beginning of the end for television? Will average Joe abandon his couch in favour on the computer monitor?
