Flying Fiasco is a funny story of travel with the airlines today. Who knew it would ever come to this point. Remember the good old days when most people thought flying was for rich people? And, when you did get to fly it was such a treat. The staff really knocked themselves out making sure that all the passengers were comfortable. Not today. This article talks about a trip taken for work that was probably the most frustrating trip one could imagine. And while one would think this was an isolated incident, it is shocking to find out that it is now a regular occurrence. In fact, I just went on a vacation and I could have written this article. Just to give you a taste of the article, here is a piece, "We get to Atlanta where I have to get a connection. This is where the fun begins. After a very hard landing, we are heading for the terminal and the plane stops. Okay, maybe he was waiting on traffic. We sit for an hour then the Captain comes on the intercom and announces that there is no place for us to park so we have to wait. One hour goes by, then two and babies are crying, plus its hot as hell. The captain comes over the intercom apologizing and says he just saw a plane turn on some lights where we are going to park so he should be leaving soon. Define soon." I'm not going to give you anymore because it is really worth reading, especially if you travel for business or pleasure. Think of this as a preview to your next airline trip. And if you're lucky, your luggage will make it to the airport with you too!
