Baby Humback Whale off the coast of Honolulu Hawaii

During the months of December thru April, Humpback whales migrate from Alaska to Hawaii to breed. They like to congregate near the coast, which makes it relatively easy for people on whale watching cruises to view their activities.

On a recent cruise, my daughter and I witnessed a baby humback breach over 50 times in the course of about an hour.
