NBC cancels the Golden Globes

SO there you have it. NBC cancels the Golden Globes. Did we not see this coming?

Raise your hand if you had money on the fact that NBC would not cancel the Golden Globes.

Instead of the Golden Globes, NBC is going to put on some "awards news" telecast in place of the canceled awards show.
