Who has better encryption? Ironkey or Truecrypt?

The author of this article wrote about how you can make your own encrypted USB flash drive using Truecrypt for under $40 and have the level of encryption as the $150 Ironkey. Ironkey fired back with an explanation as to why their product is superior. The author posted Ironkey's reply, as well as defending his position. Which is the better method in your opinion?
