Toshiba Confirms Discontinuation of HD DVD

If you were an HD DVD supporter, now is the time to bury your beloved player and look at what's available on the other camp. Toshiba just confirmed the discontinuation of HD DVD, officially ending the next generation DVD format war. Sadly for HD DVD player owner, new movies will no longer be produced on the defeated format. I guess that's part of the game for early adopters.
