Firefox extensions are brilliant, but a lot of functionality can be found in smaller browser extensions in the name of Bookmarklets.

These are tiny JavaScripts that you treat as normal bookmarks. You click on them, and the script runs. This is extremely useful for many things: power browsing, social bookmarking and removing annoying HTML.
