The rays have the number one pick, again, They will select high school shortstop Tim Beckham with their pick and that seems to be a safe pick , unless of course they don't pony up with the money to sign him, he has signed a full scholarship to play college baseball at Southern California . They considered catcher Buster Posey , but Beckham is one of those cant miss type of player they found hard to resist. Cant miss? Yeah where have we heard that before
