Kelly Tilghman apologized this past Sunday for a remark made on air in reference to Tiger Woods being lynched in a back alley by his opponents. During an exchange with Nick Faldo toward the end of the second-round of the Mercedes, Tilghman and Faldo were joking about which young players on Tour might be able to challenge Woods. After Faldo suggested that the young players would have to gang up on Woods, Tilghman added, "lynch him in a back alley," according to Golfweek.com.
