Way Of Hope: Forgive Them

One of Jesus' most powerful messages is forgiveness. While on the cross He asked God to forgive them. He wanted God to forgive those who harmed Him, mocked Him and nailed Him to the cross. He didn't want to get revenge the way we would. He wanted forgiveness for them. How amazing is that. We cannot try to get revenge on people who hurt us, we need to ask for forgiveness for them as well as forgiving them ourselves.
