I thought it would be helpful to give you a few facts about fleas and ticks.
Fleas can bite and pass on disease to humans.
The most common tick-borne diseases are Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and Ehrlichiosis. Symptoms of tick-borne diseases include: fever, muscle and joint pain, stiffness, and rashes.
A flea can produce 2,000 eggs in its lifetime.
Fleas can survive off of pets although they need a host to feed.
