Poster And Teaser Trailer For “The Eye” With Jessica Alba

The only thing Hollywood loves more than making movies is RE-making movies, especially if the original was made in another country (extra points for Hong Kong). For “The Eye” Lionsgate landed the always-watchable Jessica Alba. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t say the movie will be watchable. I remain skeptical.

I’m sure there will be plenty of people who say this film will never be as good as “Gin gwai,” the film on which it is based, but I didn’t see that film and I don’t speak Mandarin so I doubt I would understand much of it anyway…plus that film doesn’t have Jessica Alba.
