Up and coming actor, Channing Tatum just landed the plum role of Duke in the big-budget, big screen adaptation of G.I. Joe being directed by Stephen Sommers. Tatum isn't yet widely known although he has had a few high profile roles. He is definitely a rising star, however, and this role, coupled with another high profile role announced yesterday (read the article to find out what it was), should definitely put him on the Hollywood map.
