The Arrested Development movie is going to happen. At least, according to Jason Bateman, who says that it's definitely looking like a real possibility and once the writer's strike ends, a true script can be written. Writer Mitch Hurwitz already has an idea of what an Arrested Development movie will be about, but not the specifics. Arrested Development was a comedy that lasted only three seasons on FOX, but truly belongs in the upper class of great comedies, alongside The Office, Friends and Seinfeld.
