AML Movie Review: “Atonement”

Keira Knightley and James McAvoy star in Atonement, a new period piece film set during World War II. Knightley plays Cicila, who becomes entangled with Robbie, played by McAvoy. Without realizing it, her younger sister Briony has a crush on Robbie and when she sees them together, she tells a horrible lie that sets their lives down dark paths.
