Why the Kelly Blue Book is Worthless

The Kelly Blue Book has been the bible of determining how much a used car is worth for many years. That's all changing as the price of gas steadily increases. Many car dealers are no longer using the book to determine the value of a trade-in. In fact, many dealers are giving very little trade-in for gas guzzlers. There is no market for them and the dealers aren't willing to give away money for vehicles that they won't e able to sell.
