Fishing for Compliments

Women fish for compliments. It's what we do. But sometimes we're a bit too blunt in our attempt to extract a compliment from our special other. In fact, we're blunt to the point of being completely obvious, which kind of kills the point of the entire exercise. Here are some things we say that aren't really fishing for compliments...they're more like harpooning.
