Have goals before you touch the iron: You should always know the routine you’re about to perform even before crashing the gym, you should also count at least with the minimum number of repetitions you want to do before your hands even touch a barbell or dumbbell. Knowing what you’re going to do is of outmost importance, if you don’t know what you’re going to do, do not improvise, you’ll lose time and energy. If you don’t have a good memory, grab an agenda or booklet and write down what you need to do.
