In October 2007 Chlorox purchased the natural skin care company, Burt's Bees, Burt's Bees had been successful in the natural skin care market since 1991. Many of it's loyal customers were angry at the purchase. They were opposed to Chlorox--a company that does animal testing--buying a company known for its natural ingredients. The jury is out as to whether it will be a successful acquisition, but Chlorox is introducing its natural skin care line for men.
