There are many Mayday customs and traditions around the world. So it comes as no real surprise that one of them was for fair maidens to go out early in the morning and wash their faces with dew. This was apparently said to be beneficial in ways that I have described in this post - not wanting to give the whole plot away in this alternative cures primer summary here at BZ! So does it work?
