The Prius has become the poster child car of the new reality of high energy costs and environmental awareness. The hybrid car has been a huge success after its introduction years ago. And where are the US car makers' designs? Surely they could have foreseen higher gas prices. And they've had plenty of time to react to the Prius success. Quick! Name all the hybrids and sub compact cars made in America by GM, Ford and Chrysler!
