A first-hand account from a college student describing the problems with the textbook industry in the United States.  Congress is reviewing the College Opportunity and Affordability Act and this includes textbook regulation.  Textbooks can run college students $500-$1000.  Cheaper options are available, but you're paying with your time and aggravation instead, from annoying Ebay sellers to waiting a month for a book you needed for class yesterday.
