I have a terrible problem when I peel and chop onions. My eyes sting and tear terribly. It is so bad that my eyes close and I can't see. How can you chop onions under those circumstances? I learned back in the days of working in Burger King as a college student that if you stick your head in the freezer, your eyes will stop stinging. But how can I be expected to chop onions with my head in the freezer?
