Microsoft Offers $44.6 BILLION for Yahoo - Will It Help

Microsoft is offering $44.6 BILLION dollars to buy Yahoo in an attempt to stop the bleeding caused by Google. Both Microsoft and Yahoo continue to fall behind Google. So will this new merger help? If Yahoo accepts the offer, can we expect new and creative things from either Microsoft or Yahoo? If history is any teacher, the answer is probably 'No" but only time will tell.
