In a billion dollar a year deal for UPS, DHL announced it was dropping its current air carrier and signed a contract with UPS to move their packages from airport to airport. DHL is still going to have its pickup and delivery network of yellow trucks, but will be cutting back on routes and other facilities to try and help its ailing US market.

DHL is probably on its way out of the US market, continually osing market share to FEDEX and UPS.Besides this deal, they are cutting their other US network facilities by 30 percent.
