Abe books recently announced that they will be adding a commission on every shipping charge. They explained, though nobody understands this, that it was done in order to decrease shipping charges. Everyone is asking How increasing a rate to sellers will have it cause a reduction in the rate offered to buyers. Makes no sense and all of Abe's customers (book dealers) that I spoke with are ticked off - and quite a bit.
