All bloggers are guilty in tracking their stats - it is a simple fact of life. We try to get as many possible angles as possible and install multitude of tracking plugins, add external code that will help us analyze the performance of our blog. But all those packages intorduce a huge delay to page load speed. As I have discovered today - removing one peice of code and replacing it with simple and yet very effective plugin allowed me to gain page load speed to nearly 10x of the previous and retain functionality!
