But a few weeks ago Jason Clark at Inner88 introduced me to BloggingZoom, and it’s been an invaluable tool so far. It also led me to realize that I wasn’t using another site built in the same manner to its full capacity: ShowHype.com.
So what do these two tools do and how are they helping my blog?

I still haven't figure out how to add anyone as a 'friend' on here.
It’s actually less work I think than BZ, because ShowHype indexes your blog posts, so you just go there, copy the description, hit the Hype button, paste your description and submit.
I’ve actually been getting about equal traffic from both sites I think, but I will do a comparison blog post about it.
