A lot of debate is going round regarding Google's tough action on paid links and many have been penalized. Google introduced the nofollow attribute to weed out all paid links. There are some good and bad points regarding nofollow attribute. Google claims that it will improve the quality of their search results. It seems that they need webmasters' help as they are not able to detect a paid link.
