Wanna make money blogging? Dreaming about being like Problogger.net or John Chow? Well you can forget about it!

I am interested in online revenues i.e. making money on the internet. Who isn’t nowadays ?? :D

But I read an article that says the early adopters will always be the most successful. What worries me is that the article goes on to say that no matter how hard new comers try they will never match the early adopters successes. In other words the latter group will always have an advantage.

For example, let’s take LiewCF.com. You may know ALL the SEO techniques, blogging tools etc that he knows of. You may even write better or higher quality and post, find cooler tech stuff to review. You may even hire bloggers to write more articles than he does (it’s been done before for other blogs). But in the end, your blog may never match him in terms of monetory success. It’s called the Early Adopter Syndrome.

I think there is some truth in that article (pity can’t find the link anymore!). Those that started early (and are successful) can never be matched or overtaken. So all you make-money-online-wannabes out there (me included), is it really hopeless ?
