Is Technorati Dead? My Blog's New Rank is 11,695!

It seems obvious that Technorati rankings are not reliable today. My blog’s new rank is calculated as 11,695. The previous rank was 16,098. Even though I am glad to see 11,695 as my new Technorati rank, I also know that it can’t be true.

I checked the blogosphere, but could not find any evidence that Technorati changed their rank calculation algorithm. I wonder whether you notice the same improvement for your own blogs.
