Google dropped her to PR3 this time, and this post gives what eMom is currently thinking about the situation. Like everyone else that got hit you can tell from the post that Wendy (eMom) is pretty frustrated - she has the right to be.
This one is a great read, I would check it out.

The TLA slap is pretty conclusive. Has anyone seen any movement by Google on sites using PayPerPost, ReviewMe and the like? These would seem to be likely targets in the next round if not already. Wondering what the prevailing view is about this?
I will say this having that "Text Link Ads" ad just seems to bring to much attention.
I guess I will have to add www.emomsathome.com to my I do not understand list.
I use Google for all my searches. I know I'm naive. At the same time, the fact that sbloggers and scrapers are still surviving and not being down-rated, and TLAs help a lot of folks pay for the time to blog (which as we know can be quite extensive), this seems to be the moment to "Just Say No."
The only ones suffering are hard-working folks. I'm finding more outrage about this than anything going on in Washington! Plus bloggers are being penalized retroactively. They didn't know they broke any rules til they were downgraded. What a terrible shame.
eMom so eloquently displayed her integrity, that her clients benefitted from the TLAs, and they don't care about page rank, but of course we all do because that's how peeps find us.
It's very troubling. I write about current events in my field, yet Google lists 2 old posts ahead of mine. I'm a punk photographer, quite famous and work hard to promote the era and performers I shot. My work is in major new books, docs, etc. People write me all the time, cos they want to buy books, docs, etc with my pix, or know when I'm exhibiting. So a blog is far more efficient to than hours or emails every day.
But no, some unknown has a few bad snapshots of unknowns on flickr from two years and gets higher rankings than I.
What to do? Not bow down and pray peeps searching for us keep scrolling til they find us? And keep TLAs and the income coming in, plus help our readers find products they want?
I say go for it. Maybe that's the punk in me, but that's what I'm about! Call me a dreamer . . .
